Clients
“Foi a primeira vez, desde que cheguei na Inglaterra, que alguém entendeu o que eu queria sem eu precisar explicar duas vezes.”
Aline M. — Bridgwater
“She refused to laminate my brows that day and explained exactly why. I came back three weeks later and it was worth every day of the wait.”
Hannah P. — Taunton
“Sobrancelha de brasileira, feita com calma. Saio parecendo eu mesma, só que melhor.”

About
Lorraine
I learned brow design in Brazil, where it's treated as a serious craft: measurement, proportion, reading a face. I brought the whole method to Somerset — same ruler, same patience, same refusal to do something that will damage your hair.
Today I work in Bridgwater with a clientele that's half Brazilian, half British, with one thing in common: they want to leave looking like themselves.
Can't find your question? Message me on WhatsApp and I'll answer it myself.
Henna, tint and lamination can trigger an allergic reaction, including in people who have never had one. It takes ten minutes, costs nothing, protects you, and my insurer requires it. Without a test in the previous 48 hours, I won't do the treatment.
Shaping and hair removal: yes. Henna, tint, lamination and pigment work: no, as a precaution and because my insurer requires it.
Shape 3–4 weeks · tint 2–3 weeks · henna up to 10 days on skin · lamination 6–8 weeks · nano brows 12–18 months, top-up included.
Tell me when you book. In those cases I thread instead of waxing, or ask you to pause the product first. It's not a reason to stay away — it's a reason to change the method.
You pay at the studio once your treatment is finished, by cash or card. I don't take a deposit and nothing is charged in advance. If you need to move your appointment, give me 48 hours and we sort it at no cost.
Yes. The appointment, the health form and the aftercare notes all exist in Portuguese and English.

ADDRESS
Lorraine Beauty Studio Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 (full address with your confirmation)
Lorraine Beauty is a sole trader based in Bridgwater, Somerset, and is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@lorrainebeauty.co.uk.
What we collect
Your name, phone number and email address, so we can confirm and manage your appointment.
Your appointment details: the treatment, date, time and price.
Your preferred language, so your appointment and aftercare are given in Portuguese or English.
Health information you choose to tell us — allergies, medication, skin conditions, pregnancy, and your patch test result. This is special category data and we treat it accordingly.
Any message you send us through the site or WhatsApp.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
Your contact and appointment details are processed to perform the contract between us — in plain terms, to give you the appointment you booked and to remind you about it. Health information is processed only with your explicit consent, and only so the treatment can be carried out safely. A record of consultations and patch tests is kept because our insurer requires it.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not send you marketing unless you have separately asked for it. There is no advertising or tracking on this website.
Who else sees it
Only the providers that host our website and deliver our email, acting on our instructions. If an insurance claim were ever made, the relevant records would be shared with our insurer. Nothing else leaves the studio.
How long we keep it
Consultation and patch test records: seven years, as required by our insurer.
Contact details: until you ask us to remove them.
Enquiries that never became an appointment: twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
This policy
It is written in English, which is the operative version. Lorraine will talk you through any part of it in Portuguese. If we change it, the date above changes with it.

Terms & Conditions
LAST UPDATED — SEPTEMBER 2026
These terms apply to every appointment booked with Lorraine Beauty, a sole trader based in Bridgwater, Somerset. Booking an appointment means you accept them.
Booking and payment
Your appointment is confirmed by the email we send when you book. No deposit is taken and no payment is collected through this website or by any other means in advance. You pay at the studio once your treatment is finished, by cash or card. Prices shown on this site are the prices we honour for a confirmed booking, even if our prices change before your visit.
Patch tests
A patch test carried out no less than 48 hours beforehand is compulsory for tint, henna and lamination, including for returning clients whenever a product changes. Without it the treatment will not go ahead, and the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation.
Changing or cancelling
You may move or cancel an appointment at any time, free of charge, using the link in your confirmation email or by messaging us. Nothing is ever charged for cancelling, whenever you do it. We simply ask for as much notice as you can give, because a slot left empty at short notice cannot be filled. Where someone repeatedly fails to attend without letting us know, we may ask them to confirm by message before we hold a slot again. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean the treatment is shortened or rescheduled, because the following slot belongs to someone else.
Your health, and our right to refuse
You must give accurate information about allergies, medication, skin treatments, medical conditions and pregnancy. We may decline or change a treatment where we believe it would be unsafe or would damage your hair or skin, and we will explain why. Tint, henna, lamination and pigment work are not carried out during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Age
Pigment work is for clients aged 18 and over. Shaping and hair removal for under-18s requires a parent or guardian to give consent and to be present.
Results
Results vary between people and depend on your hair, skin and how closely you follow the aftercare you are given. Indicative durations quoted on this site are not guarantees.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability in connection with a treatment is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Complaints
Please contact us within seven days of your appointment so we can look at it while it can still be put right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Cookie Policy
LAST UPDATED — SEPTEMBER 2026
This website sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are until you choose to send us a booking request.
What is stored on your device
Your language choice, so the site opens in Portuguese or English next time.
An unfinished booking, so you do not lose your selections if you close the tab.
Whether you have dismissed the notice at the bottom of this site.
These are held in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. They stay on your device, they are not sent to us, and we cannot read them.
Third parties that see your IP address
Two resources are loaded from outside our server so the site looks and moves as intended: the typefaces come from Google Fonts, and the animation library from Cloudflare's public library service. Delivering a file requires your IP address, which those providers see. Neither is used to profile you, and neither places a cookie for us.
Clearing it
Clearing site data in your browser settings removes everything listed above. The site will still work; it will simply have forgotten your language.
If that changes
If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Cancellations & Refunds
LAST UPDATED — SEPTEMBER 2026
Nothing is paid in advance
We do not take deposits, we do not hold card details, and no payment of any kind is collected through this website. You pay at the studio, by cash or card, once your treatment is finished. That means there is normally nothing to refund.
Cancelling or moving your appointment
Free, at any time, with no charge whatsoever. Use the link in your confirmation email or message us. We ask for as much notice as you can give — an empty slot at short notice usually cannot be filled — but no fee applies either way.
Your 14-day right to cancel
Because you book online, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. Since nothing is paid in advance, exercising it simply means cancelling your appointment. This right ends once the treatment has been carried out at your request.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel, you are offered the next slot that suits you. As nothing was paid, there is nothing to return.
If you are unhappy with the result
Tell us within seven days. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a service must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and where it has not been, you are entitled to have it put right at no cost. Where putting it right is not possible, we will refund an appropriate part of what you paid. We cannot refund a completed treatment because of a change of mind, or where the aftercare you were given was not followed.
How refunds are paid
In the rare case one is due, to the method you paid with at the studio, within 5 to 10 working days.
This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. We store only your language choice and any unfinished booking, in your own browser.
